The award-winning Ukrainian troupe Dekru, regarded as the spiritual successor to the tradition of Marcel Marceau, presents an extraordinary physical theater performance that tells, without words, about the joys, absurdities, and dreams of contemporary humanity.
With gentle humor, poetry, and precise movement artistry, the artists create dozens of characters and situations before the audience’s eyes – from the circus arena to Olympic competitions and unexpected everyday stories that everyone can relate to. Light Souls is a celebration of human imagination, a sensitive reflection on today’s world, and a reminder that laughter and empathy are universal languages.
The performance has received enthusiastic responses from audiences across Europe and other parts of the world, enchanting viewers of television talent competitions as well.
