Special anniversary performance for the 15th edition of Mime Fest

Ten milestones of pantomime presented by leading Czech mime Radim Vizváry. In 90 minutes, he showcases a diverse range of shades of this genre, from classical pantomime to butoh, from physical comedy to contemporary mime theater.

Tradition, poetry, grotesque, extravagance, and lyricism. You will laugh and cry, all without a single word from Radim – his artistry does not require them. He expresses himself purely through physicality, organically blending movement virtuosity with compelling acting.

Although this acclaimed performance has appeared at Mime Fest in the past, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the festival, Radim Vizváry returns with his Solo as a personal gift and thank you to the audience that has accompanied the festival throughout its journey.

This evening will be a unique celebration of Mime Fest’s anniversary, offering extraordinary moments that will occur only on this occasion.

For his performance Solo, Radim Vizváry received the Thálie Award 2016 in the category of ballet, pantomime, or other dance-drama genres.
