The Italian duo TheDouble Mime presents a lively performance of contemporary pantomime and physical theater, where two seemingly ordinary situations transform into an unexpected avalanche of absurd events. First, we watch two head chefs of a Michelin-starred restaurant, whose perfectly synchronized routine falls apart in an instant. The second story takes us into the world of aristocracy in the 1920s. The calm life of the noble society is suddenly interrupted by a wartime attack, and the inhabitants find themselves in a bunker, where the struggle for survival turns into a tragicomic game full of humor, nostalgia, and human ingenuity.
The ensemble TheDouble Mime consists of mimes and physical theater performers Pietro Pellegrino and Fabrizio Merlo, who blend classical pantomime with contemporary visual theater in their work.
Without words, using only movement, gestures, and precisely timed physical comedy, they create a poetic and whimsical world where every “oops!” hides a new story. Ooops! Silent Chaos is a celebration of human imperfection, imagination, and the ability to find humor even in the most unexpected situations.
