HOUSE OF MASK & MIME (TH): The Original Show

The Thai company combines pantomime, mask and object theatre with dance and clowning in its performance. The scenic mosaic consists of seven imaginative performances inspired by the world around us. For example, what do giant eyes see? How adventurous can a subway ride or an astronaut’s journey into space be? The comedy show highlights of the beauty in small things and everyday life, and certainly doesn’t skimp on emotions.

House of Mask & Mime was established by Lisa Sripatanasakul from her fascination for mime and masks. House of Mask & Mime opened marvellously at the Bangkok Theatre Festival 2022 with the first performance “House of Mask & Mime: The Original Show.” After its debut the company toured extensively, both domestically and internationally. Additionally, it has produced new works and performed in a variety of venues, ranging from traditional theatres to adaptations as street art, making the performances more accessible and audience-friendly.
