Unleash your inner Bouffon in an explosion of fun that turns life’s sh!t into comedy gold! What’s the difference between a Clown and a Bouffon? The world laughs at the Clown — but the Bouffon laughs at the World.
Picture a wild-eyed pack of outsiders. These outcasts take ecstatic pleasure in mocking everything and everyone. Ridiculous, mischievous, confrontational, and poetic — Bouffons ride the razor’s edge between comic delight and uncomfortable truth.
In this workshop, participants will discover the attitude and spirit of the Bouffon through – ensemble play & complicity, choral work, the joy of transforming and mocking, exploring rich thematic layers, uncovering hot spots that make the audience say “ouch!”.
